One reason we have such a huge success at Happy Day Lodge is because trail cameras are exclusively used in preparation for all of our hunts. The use of trail cameras has given Happy Day Lodge a huge advantage in increasing our hunter's ability to harvest a higher proportion of larger mature male bears. Please view video 1 and 2 and you will be able to clearly see why the use of trail cameras enables us to guide our hunter to the RIGHT stand and RIGHT bear. With our experience with trail cameras, we are able to educate our hunters on when it might be advisable to pass on a smaller bear. After viewing the videos, you can see why changing our hunter's set time would enable our hunter the opportunity to successfully fill his tag with a 300 lb. mature male bear instead of the smaller one.
